The St Andrew’s choir
- is RSCM
affiliated with a long and distinguished history, and is well
known to be one of the most competent in Thanet. Its members have a wide-ranging repertoire and they regularly give concerts and
perform religious works. They lead the singing at our main family communion service at 10:00am,
offering an anthem during communion itself. This is also
when the Junior Choir joins the service. The choir is also in attendance
at 6.30 pm Evensong when the Prayer Book service is used. The adult choir
rehearse at 7 pm until 8.30 pm on Friday evenings. For more information,

The St Andrew’s music group
-
is made up mainly of young musicians who join together to lead worship
on special occasions such as parade services and children’s Christmas services.
They offer a good quality alternative to the organ at these events,
although the choir always assists them in the leading of worship.
